At Leslie Consulting our most valued resource is our staff. We currently have 23 employees including 14 engineers working in the fields of mechanical, electrical and software engineering. LC also has two engineers with PhDs in Biomechanics and Zero Gravity Material testing. Our extensive range of skills and experience, combined with the latest computer aided engineering software gives LC the ability to tackle major design projects and product customisation whilst still being able to competitively manage smaller analysis, certification or installations jobs.

The LC design team currently holds eight Solidworks licences. We use a range of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) packages including; Cosmosworks, Pro Mechanica and Strand for stress and vibration studies, allowing us to comply with specific design and certification needs.

Leslie Consulting, in co-operation Ground Breaking Innovations (GBI), has a scale testing dragline rig in Goodna, Ipswich which allows us to test our designs under real conditions. Offering rope, shovel and dragline testing capabilities the rig has been fitted out with the latest technologies, including our revolutionary UDD system and controls, which perfectly simulate those on site.
