CQMS is a leading supplier of wear parts to the mining industry thanks to the innovative function, reliability and streamlined design of their products.
G.E.T. are a major part of their business and usability has a big influence.
LC has been a major contributor and designer of CQMS's G.E.T. wear components by providing engineering throughout all stages of product development incuding conceptual design, prototype manufacture and testing, production design and production manufacture. As a result LC has worked very closely with the CQMS Foundry in Maryborough ensuring the continued integry of product lines.
Retainers are used to keep the G.E.T. in place and they must operate under extreme loads and impacts in a high temperature environment where dust and material fines can cause havoc with the design's reliability and user friendliness. LC have helped CQMS not only find a solution to this problem, but have developed new ground breaking solutions in applications heavily restricted by patents.
