Leslie Consulting, in conjunction with EDDS and contracted by Genesis productions, has designed two exhibits: "the wonky walk" and "lift a fridge" for the new Queensland Science Centre at Southbank, Brisbane. |

The wonky walk is a stationary walkway surrounded by a rotating tunnel which causes your brain to believe that it is you and not the walls that are moving. It works on the basis that your brain has had a lifetime of processing surrounding backgrounds, such as the landscape, sky and buildings, as being stationary whilst you and other living creatures move around. |

The Lift A Fridge exhibit was designed to demonstrate how simple levers can be used to lift large loads, using three different points along the beam to demonstrate how the same force exerted in different places along the beam can have a dramatically different outcomes. |
