Shaker screens operate at high frequencies under high acceleration and in a matter of hours reach the number of fatigue cycles non-vibrating components reach in their entire lifetime. Thus, stress and frequency analysis are a very important part of ensuring the screens reach their service life. The screens' natural modal frequencies also need to be tuned away from the operating frequency to ensure resonance does not take place. |

Analysis performed by Leslie Consulting allows final-stage design changes to be made such that the screens' natural mode shapes aren't excited during operation and the stresses remain at acceptable limits. We continue to work closely with Ludowici to improve modelling techniques in the design phase, as well as providing support during commissioning and service. |
